Timeline

Pre-construction design and permitting are underway, with groundbreaking scheduled for early 2026.

Builder Update:

  • Project Kickoff - April 25, 2026

Construction at Deer Creek Crossing is officially underway.

Site clearing began this week, pushing forward through steady rain in Northeast Georgia. An early indication of the pace and standard this project will carry from start to finish. What’s now visible on site marks the transition from months of deliberate planning into active construction, where every decision begins to take physical form.

Through the remainder of April, clearing will continue as the site is prepared for the next phase. The lot will be re-staked to confirm final footprint positioning ahead of grading, with rough grading and basement excavation scheduled to begin next week. These early movements are foundational (literally and figuratively) in transferring the design layout viewed on floor plans to the site in a way that will shape everything that follows.

While progress is now visible in the field, the discipline behind it remains the driver. Coordination, sequencing, and trade alignment have been structured in advance to ensure that momentum is maintained without compromising the level of detail this home demands.

As we move forward, this project will also carry something beyond the physical structure being built. It will serve as an intentional extension of the values behind how we build.

That commitment is reflected through our Foundations of Hope initiative.

                   Foundations of Hope

Building Homes. Changing Lives.

With Neaux Construction Group, each home is designed to leave a lasting impact beyond the structure itself.

Through Foundations of Hope, a portion of the proceeds from every build is directed toward a different cause selected by our project team, ensuring that each build contributes to something greater.

For Deer Creek Crossing, we’ve chosen to partner with Wheelchairs 4 Kids, an organization dedicated to improving mobility and independence for children with physical disabilities through equipment, home modifications, and family support. Upon completion of this home, sale proceeds will go toward providing a wheelchair to a child in need, completing a door widening modification to improve accessibility within a local family’s home, and supporting Camp Wheely, a program that offers fully accessible vacation experiences for children and their families.

This initiative is meaningful to us because accessibility goes beyond design. It directly impacts independence, dignity, and quality of life and, being able to contribute to that in a meaningful way is something we deeply value.

Because when you build with Neaux, you help build something bigger.
